Purple Race Labs was founded
By two people united by a deep passion for sim racing.
One of the founders, our lead-engineer, has been a professional sim racer with Coanda Esports for over a decade, and has previously designed top of the market sim racing hardware. The other is the managing director of Coanda Esports, bringing both industry expertise, and an unwavering belief in what sim racing hardware should be.
As a professional sim racing team, you are constantly searching for the best equipment on the market. Yet time and again, we found ourselves unable to find hardware that truly felt like our own. Something that met our exact expectations in performance, feeling, and reliability. That frustration sparked an idea: if we couldn’t find what we were looking for, why not create it ourselves?
With access to some of the best sim racers in the world, combined with engineering expertise, we began developing hardware driven by experience rather than compromise. Every decision that is taken, is backed by thousands of hours of racing, testing, and feeling, until everything clicked. That’s how Purple Race Labs came to life.
Every component of our hardware is carefully considered. Of course, hardware can look nice, but every part also needs to have purpose. Our goal is to extract every possible ounce of performance from the design. Key points to performance: reliability & consistency. Every input, at every moment, must behave exactly as the driver expects. Additionally, trust in your hardware is essential when chasing performance at the highest level.
Finally, while high performance often comes at a high cost, we do believe that accessibility matters. Sim Racing should never be limited to a select few. We want to give back to the community by offering a product that delivers uncompromising, precision-engineered performance while remaining accessible.
